the cafe by the waterfall
jibhi waterfall trail
a small wooden setup right where the trail meets the falls. the menu is short (maggi, momos, tea) but the spot is the point. you can hear the water from your seat.
best for: a post-trek breather
the guide · cafes
jibhi has more cafes than you'd expect for a village its size, and honestly most of them are pleasant. this list is shorter than the full count, on purpose. these are the ones we'd actually send a friend to.

main jibhi market
jibhi has a small cluster of cafes near the market that all run on the same template: cushioned floor seating, slow wifi, israeli + himachali menus, books on the shelf you can borrow.
best for: writing a postcard you'll forget to send
ghiagi, on the road to jalori
a roadside cafe with a deck looking onto the valley. stop here on the way up to jalori pass for chai and an omelette. on a clear morning the view runs all the way to the dhauladhars.
best for: a sunrise pit stop
10-15 mins from jibhi, towards gushaini
if you have a car or scooter, the tirthan valley side has a few cafes built right over the river. trout on the menu, the river under your feet. worth the half-day detour.
best for: a slow afternoon out
jibhi village
a tiny espresso bar run by a couple who moved here from goa. one espresso machine, one cake, one playlist. you'll be in and out in twenty minutes. but those are good twenty minutes.
best for: a quick coffee before you head out
if you've got a spot worth adding to this list, message me on instagram at @jeethrill. we update this slowly, the same way the village does.
