about
a small site for a small village
jibhi.life is a guide written by people who keep ending up in jibhi. it's the opposite of a churned-out listicle. no "12 unmissable things", no breathless captions, no pressure to see all of it in a weekend.
we write about jibhi the way we'd describe it to a friend who's asking. some of it is practical, how to get there, what to pack, where to stay. some of it is opinions, which cafe to walk to first, which trek to skip, which season is actually the best (it's september).
the site is intentionally small. we'd rather have seven good pages than seventy thin ones. when we add something, it's because we went and saw it and think it's worth your morning.
how we choose what's here
the lists here are short on purpose. if a place is on one, it's because we've been, we'd go back, and we think it's worth your morning. we'd rather point you to ten good things than fifty average ones.
if something we wrote is out of date, or wrong, or if you ran a cafe we missed, message me on instagram at @jeethrill. we update the site every few weeks.
a note on going slow
jibhi is the kind of place that gets ruined by being told to be fast. so this site is, on purpose, the opposite of a "10 reasons to visit" thinkpiece. read one page. close the tab. come walk here.
